DesktopDeck

Terms of Service

Last Updated: March 3, 2026

By using DesktopDeck, you are agreeing to the following terms. We've kept them human-readable because we value your time as much as your setup.

1. The Founder's Pass

The Founder's Pass is a limited-time offer for our earliest supporters.

Access: A one-time payment of $29 grants you full access to all "Pro" features of DesktopDeck for a period of five (5) years from the date of purchase.

Non-Transferable: Your pass is tied to your account and cannot be resold or transferred to other users.

2. Software License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive license to use DesktopDeck to orchestrate your personal or professional environments.

No Reverse Engineering: You agree not to decompile or attempt to extract the source code of DesktopDeck or the deployment engine.

Usage Limits: The Founder's Pass is intended for individual use. Systemic abuse or "automated reselling" of Deck configurations via our platform is prohibited.

3. Scripts and Third-Party Packages

DesktopDeck is an orchestrator. It facilitates the execution of scripts (e.g., .ps1, .sh) and the installation of packages via third-party managers (WinGet, Homebrew).

User Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the scripts you add to your Decks. DesktopDeck does not audit or guarantee the safety of custom binaries or private installers you provide.

Assumption of Risk: You acknowledge that running automation scripts can modify system settings. DesktopDeck is not liable for system instability or data loss resulting from user-defined configurations.

4. Service Availability

While we strive for 100% uptime for our "Deck Sync" features, DesktopDeck is provided "as is." We are not responsible for delays caused by third-party package repositories or local network issues.

5. Refund Policy

We want you to love your setup. If DesktopDeck doesn't fit your workflow, we offer a 60-day "No Questions Asked" refund for the Founder's Pass.

6. Termination

We reserve the right to revoke access if these terms are violated (e.g., fraudulent payments or malicious use of the platform).
